Davis Bay Bed & Breakfast has been
serving guests in Sechelt, BC since 1999. It was built two years
earlier, and the house was designed and built as a bed and breakfast.
It is conveniently located between
Sechelt (7 km) and Gibsons (14 km). Our strategic location allows you
to use us as your base point to enjoy both communities and the
surrounding environment. Depending on the direction you are coming
from, your arrival on the Sunshine Coast will be either from Langdale
Ferry terminal (just outside of Gibsons) or Earls Cove (just outside
of Egmont). Our owner, Heidi Goodman and a friendly greeter, Jock,
would love to welcome you at Davis Bay Bed & Breakfast.
While you are at our Sechelt B&B, enjoy all that Sunshine Coast
has to offer! Davis Bay B&B is at a short distance from Sechelt,
Roberts Creek, and Gibsons. BC Ferries offers scenic forty minute
ferry rides to and from Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Our Sechelt
B&B is a 15 minute scenic drive on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
There are many hiking areas on the Sunshine Coast, varying from many
groomed trails to being out in the wilderness. Driving up and
exploring some of the old logging roads, you can sometimes see the
tracks of Elk herds.
Take an exciting and awe inspiring aeroplane tour ride over the
backcountry of the Sunshine Coast, flying over a world of trees,
glaciers, mountain peaks, rivers and creeks. The Gumboot Restaurant
is a renowned restaurant with its own garden on the Sunshine Coast
for its healthy cooking, fresh and delicious food.
Enjoy the nearby Sunshine Coast fitness centre with an assortment of
workout equipment and a pool, sauna, and hot tub. Hike in Cliff
Gilker Park and enjoy waterfalls, tall trees, and streams. If you
enjoy Mountain biking, then you can ride on the network of trails
below Mt. Elphinstone. Sea kayak on our amazing coast. At night, you
can gaze at the stars in the wide open Sunshine Coast view.
The Sunshine Coast has mild winters with next to no snow. Here on the
Sunshine Coast, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds! You’ll
enjoy the snow free roads, trails, and beaches and whenever you wish,
you can visit the mountains to enjoy the snow. Snow shoeing, skiing
and hot chocolate await!
